A few things worth knowing before we speak
We try to make the first conversation as low-friction as possible. Here's what you should — and shouldn't — expect.

You don't need to prepare anything
Most people know their rough numbers off the top of their head, and that's enough for us to work with on a first call. No documents, no forms, no pre-reading.

The call is free, no commitment
Consultations are free of charge. You're not signing anything, you're not committing to proceed, and we'd rather you walk away than work with us if we're not the right fit.

We'll tell you if we can't help
If your situation doesn't suit our specialism, we'll say so on the first call. We'll usually have a recommendation for a broker who can help instead.

Indicative figures the same day
After the call — usually within a couple of hours — we'll send you indicative borrowing, estimated rates, and what monthly payments would look like.

Out-of-hours: David and Simon both check messages outside working hours where it's reasonable to do so. If your case is time-sensitive, say so in your message and we'll come back to you the same evening.
Visiting in person: Meetings at our office are by appointment only. Most clients prefer Teams or phone — but if you'd rather meet face-to-face, just let us know in advance.
A Q U I C K N O T EWho we work with — and who we don't
Our specialism is structuring mortgages around complex income for City professionals — bonuses, RSUs, carried interest, partnership drawings, foreign currency. That's where we add the most value.
But complex doesn't mean we only take complex. We're happy to help with straightforward cases too, even if you're not in one of our core sectors. A clean PAYE income, a standard residential purchase, a simple remortgage — we handle these every week and we're glad to.
There are a few areas we don't cover: adverse credit, bridging finance, commercial mortgages, and buy-to-let. If your case falls into one of these, we'll point you to a broker who specialises in it.
